Abstract
The invention relates to a device () for a medical treatment apparatus, the device being configured for measuring a flow of liquids in a lumen (S) inserted in the device, the device having a receptacle (D) and a first ultrasonic transducer (US), wherein the receptacle (D) of the device () has a first guide side (A) and a second guide side (P), so that the lumen(S) has approximately a trapezoidal course when the tube is inserted in the device, wherein the first ultrasonic transducer (US) is arranged at a first trapezoid corner, and wherein the first ultrasonic transducer (US) in operation is designed to perform a measurement in or against a direction of flow in the lumen(S). The invention furthermore relates to an ensemble comprising the device and the lumen.
