Abstract
Gaming systems and method that provide a wheel section group selection feature including a displayed wheel including a plurality of sections and displayed indications of different player selectable groups of the sections for a play of a game. For the play of the game, the gaming system enables the player to select one of the different selectable groups of sections for that play of the game. The gaming system determines any awards for the play of the game based on an indicated section of the wheel, the award amount displayed on the section, and based on the player selected section group.
