Abstract

In an example, a touchless scanning haptic feedback device includes a touchless sensor system to detect a contour of a target, at a distance to produce sensor data, the target being at least one of a person or an object; and a tactile simulation system to physically relay the detected contour to a user by generating haptic feedback based on the sensor data and simulating haptic feedback virtual sensation of touch based on the generated haptic feedback which is indicative of the detected contour of the target.
