Abstract
This application provides a signal transmission method and an apparatus. The method includes: generating m signals, where m is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2; and sending the m signals on m resources, where the m resources correspond to m frequency domain resources in frequency domain, the m resources correspond to m time elements in time domain, a first frequency domain resource used by a signal carried in an itime element is distributed on at least two carrier components, a second frequency domain resource used by a signal carried in a jtime element is distributed on at least one carrier component, there is an overlapping part between the second frequency domain resource and the first frequency domain resource.
