Abstract
The invention relates to a pitch change mechanism () comprising a frame (), an actuating cylinder () having a moving part () capable of translating relative to the frame (), and a linkage system () connecting the moving part () to a variable-pitch vane () so as to convert the translation of the moving part () into a rotation of the variable-pitch vane (). It further comprises a fluid transfer bearing () for supplying the actuating cylinder () with actuating fluid from a source () relative to which the actuating cylinder () is capable of rotating. The actuating cylinder () extends at least partly around the fluid transfer bearing ().
