Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a thermoplastic resin having excellent non-whitening properties, impact strength, gloss, and fluidity, and a method of preparing the thermoplastic resin. The thermoplastic resin includes an alkyl acrylate-alkyl methacrylate graft copolymer (A), or the copolymer (A) and a matrix resin (B) including an alkyl methacrylate polymer and/or an alkyl methacrylate-alkyl acrylate copolymer. A transparency of the thermoplastic resin having a thickness of 0.15 mm is less than 2, a total content of the alkyl acrylate in the thermoplastic resin is 20 to 50% by weight, and a butyl acrylate coverage value (X) as calculated by Equation 1 below is 50 or more:={()/}×100, [Equation 1]
