Abstract
An apparatus, comprising: at least one processor; and at least one memory storing instructions that when executed by the at least one processor cause the apparatus at least to perform: receiving, at a user equipment from a network node, a measurement validity configuration specifying radio interface measurement characteristics required to be met by the user equipment to obtain valid measurements; and determining, at the user equipment, whether radio interface measurements made by the user equipment meet the measurement validity configuration and, if so, providing an indication to the network node that valid measurements have been obtained.
