Abstract
Disclosed is a reliability detection method for a certificate monitor service in a PKI certificate transparency system, including: sending a to-be-queried domain name set to one or more third-party certificate monitor service providers, and processing collected raw certificates output by the provider to obtain a certificate search result set; filtering and aggregating the certificate search result set to obtain a certificate reference set, detecting a difference between the certificate search result set and the certificate reference set; issuing reliability alert to the provider when a missing certificate and/or an irrelevant certificate in the certificate search result set; extracting features from a filtering result and a detecting result by using a feature extraction tool, analyzing the extracted features, generating a table of fault causes based on an analyzing result, and locating a fault of the provider according to the filtering result, the detecting result, and the table of fault causes.
