Abstract
A vehicle control device includes a rotating electrical machine and a gasoline engine, and controls a vehicle that receives electric power from a power supply lane provided on a road side and charges a battery that outputs power of the rotating electrical machine, the vehicle control device including a processor, wherein the processor selects one of first travel by the rotating electrical machine and second travel by the gasoline engine based on the electric power price and the gasoline price, and a total COemissions discharged until the destination, and controls the travel of the vehicle on a route to the destination.
