Abstract
An injection device () of an injection molding machine () includes a heating cylinder () having a gas introduction port () and a screw (), and a gas supply device () is connected to the gas introduction port (). The gas supply device () includes a gas supply source () and a gas pressure regulating unit (). The gas pressure regulating unit () regulates a gas pressure and supplies the gas when a gas from the gas supply source () is introduced into the gas introduction port (). Specifically, the gas pressure is caused to change in a molding cycle and is increased to a high pressure in a metering process (). That is, a pressure increasing period () in which the gas pressure increases at least partially overlaps with the metering process ().
