Abstract

The present disclosure relates to an image sensor device (). The image sensor device () has a data communication interface () configured to receive a hash value (), a cryptographically secure storage () storing a cryptographic key () of the image sensor device, and a processor () configured to sign captured image data () or a processed version thereof and the received hash value () using the cryptographic key () to generate a signature () of the image data. The data communication interface () is configured to transmit the generated signature (), the captured image data (), and an identifier () of the image sensor.
