Abstract
Methods of preparing biosurfactants derived from marine organisms are provided. The methods include providing one or more nudibranchs of the species, stimulating production of mucus by the nudibranchs, collecting mucus from the nudibranchs, concentrating the bioactive components in the mucus, determining the pH of the mucus, categorizing the mucus as acidic or alkaline, and freeze-drying the mucus.
