Compounds comprising a first ligand Lof are disclosed. In L, ring B is a 5- or 6-membered ring; Y is O, S, NR, or CRR; Zis O, S, NR, or CRR'; Xis C or N; each R, R′, R, R, R, and Ris hydrogen or a substituent; Lis coordinated to a metal M bthe dashed lines; any two of R, R′, R, R, R, and Rcan be joined to form a ring; and with the proviso that the compound does not comprise Formula II, wherein each of Z' and Z″ is C or N. Formulations, OLEDs, and consumer products containing the compound are also disclosed.
