Abstract
The printing device includes an operation section, an angle adjustment mechanism, a locking mechanism, and a raising mechanism. The locking mechanismswitches from the locked state to the unlocked state when a specific operation is performed on the operation sectionin the locked state. The angle adjustment mechanismis provided with the receiving memberprovided in the operation section, and a contacting memberfor holding the operation sectionat an arbitrary angle by the raising mechanismof the operation section. The receiving memberis provided with a portion where the contacting force of the contacting memberto the receiving memberbecomes smaller than the predetermined force in the process that the operation sectionis raised by the prescribed angle.
