Abstract
Embodiments herein provide a method for determining IP addresses for scanning in wireless network by a system (). The method includes storing a plurality of IP scan configurations corresponding to various network elements in a database (). Each of the IP scan configuration includes a plurality of IP parameters corresponding to each bit of an IP schema, where each IP parameter of the plurality of IP parameters is defined by a user. Further, the method includes receiving a request to determine a list of IP addresses required to be scanned corresponding to a network element. Further, the method includes retrieving the IP scan configuration corresponding to the network element from the database. Further, the method includes determining the list of IP addresses to be scanned based on the retrieved IP scan configuration. Further, the method includes displaying the list of IP addresses to the user.
