Abstract
A method for commissioning an actuator (), includes querying and inputting operating parameters of the actuator () one after the other in an interactive menu structure, with at least one path which determines the operating parameters to be queried one after the other being defined in the menu structure, and an acknowledgement of a parameter input causing a jump along the defined path to the next parameter input, in particular wherein the path connects a plurality of branches of the menu structure.
