Abstract
A stereoscopic image display device includes a display panel that includes pixels, a polarization controller that generates a first output voltage and a second output voltage, and a polarization control layer that controls a path of light emitted by the display panel, based on the first output voltage and the second output voltage. The first output voltage has a first voltage level in a first mode, and a second voltage level that differs from the first voltage level in a second mode. The second output voltage has the first voltage level in the first mode, and has the first voltage level or a third voltage level that differs from the first and second voltage levels in the second mode.
