Abstract
The invention relates to a device () for determining a cardiac output for a cardiac assist system (), wherein the device () comprises a support structure () and a sensor device (). The support structure () comprises at least one brace () and a connection section () for connecting the device () to an element () of the cardiac assist system (). The at least one brace () is connected to the connection section () and can be folded away from the element (). The sensor device () is coupled to the at least one brace () and configured to sense a blood stream.
