Abstract
There are provided a shake correction device and an imaging apparatus capable of mechanically suppressing movement of a movable unit and efficiently radiating heat of the movable unit. A shake correction device includes: a movable unit that holds an imaging element; a fixed unit that supports the movable unit to be movable within a plane that intersects an optical axis of the imaging element; and a lock mechanism that presses a first region of a first member connected to the fixed unit against a second member of the movable unit to suppress movement of the movable unit, in which heat of the movable unit is conducted to the fixed unit from a second region of the first member different from the first region via the first region from the second member by the pressing.
