Abstract
A method of displaying a visual representation of a luminaire to be manufactured using an additive manufacturing process comprises obtaining () a three-dimensional model of the luminaire and obtaining () a displacement map associated with the three-dimensional model for accurately representing details of the luminaire. The method further comprises representing () print tracks created by the additive manufacturing process in a bump map for reducing rendering complexity, rendering () the visual representation of the luminaire based on the three-dimensional model, the displacement map, and the bump map, and displaying () the visual representation.
