An active stylus having dual operation protocol switching includes a mode key configured to provide a logic level in response to a user's choice of operation protocols. A micro control unit is configured to generate a V(Voltage of point to point) control signal in response to the logic level. A signal power control module is configured to generate a Vin response to the Vcontrol signal.
