Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a driver-assistance system for assisting a driver of a vehicle, the driver-assistance system comprising a vehicle control unit, a mobile smartphone and a communication system, wherein the vehicle control unit is configured to provide a signal, wherein the signal describes at least partially a state of the vehicle and the smartphone is connectable to the vehicle control unit by the communication system for receiving the signal and comprises a first sensor, wherein the first sensor is configured to generate a first sensor value for detecting a traffic situation of the vehicle and the smartphone is configured to perform an evaluation of a behavior of the driver during the traffic situation dependent on the signal and the first sensor value and to output a result of the evaluation of the behavior of the driver.
