Bioprocessing system and associated method thereof

Abstract

A bioprocessing system () including a storage unit () for storing a feed fluid (), a filter () coupled to the storage unit () via a feed path (), and a feed pump () coupled to the feed path (). The bioprocessing system () further includes a collection unit () coupled to the filter () via a downstream path () and a turbidity sensor () coupled to the downstream path (). Furthermore, the bioprocessing system () includes a processing unit () configured to receive an output from the turbidity sensor () and determine a concentration of a product in a filtration fluid () based on the output. The processing unit () is further configured to monitor an operating condition of the filter () on-line based on concentration of the product.
