Abstract

A porous body containing a liquid crystal polymer powder that has liquid crystal polymer fibers, wherein an average size of the liquid crystal polymer fibers is 2 μm or less, the porous body has an average pore size of 10 μm or less as measured by mercury intrusion porosimetry, and the porous body has a tensile strength of 25 N/mmor more.
