Abstract

An electronic module configured for releasable attachment to a medicament delivery device () includes a printed circuit board () with an electronic circuit (), a battery (), and a switch for activating the electronic module (). The switch includes an electric activation contact () providing a connection with the electronic circuit () and a battery contact extension () extending from a terminal () of the battery (). The battery contact extension () is biased towards the electric contact () for closing a switching or air gap () between the battery contact extension () and the electric activation contact (), and the battery contact extension () is configured to engage an actuation element () of the medicament delivery device () such that the actuation element () pushes the battery contact extension () against the bias thereby creating the switching or air gap ().
