Abstract
A ventilation componentincludes an internal member, a gas-permeable membrane, and an external member. The internal memberhas an open tubular structure, and has a protruding portionon an outer circumferential surface of the open tubular structure. The gas-permeable membranecovers one opening of the internal member. The external memberis formed to have a closed tubular structure and has a hooking portion on an inner circumferential surface of the closed tubular structure, the hooking portion hooking the protruding portion. The internal memberis fixed to the external memberin a state where the internal memberis inserted inside the external memberand the external memberhooks the protruding portionby the hooking portion. The ventilation componentis capable of being fixed to a projectiontubularly protruding from an outer surface of a housing. When the internal memberand the external memberare viewed in plan along an axis A, the ventilation componentsatisfies a requirement I<O<O.
