Abstract
Provided are: a novel nucleating agent capable of imparting excellent transparency to synthetic resins; a synthetic resin composition containing the same; and a molded object of the synthetic resin composition. The nucleating agent contains at least one triazine compound represented by Formula (1), wherein Ar, Arand Areach independently represent an unsubstituted phenyl group or a substituted phenyl group. In Formula (1), for example, the number of substituents of the substituted phenyl group is preferably 1, and Ar, Arand Arare preferably all different groups.
