Abstract
A method for transmitting data using a time sensitive network (TSN). A first communication device includes a first terminal and a first TSN bridge, and the second communication device includes a second terminal and a second virtual TSN bridge. In the method, the first terminal transmits a virtual TSN bridge connection request to the first virtual TSN bridge. The first virtual TSN bridge transmits a virtual TSN port information request to the second virtual TSN bridge according to the virtual TSN bridge connection request. The second virtual TSN bridge transmits, to the first virtual TSN bridge, information related to a virtual TSN port included in the second virtual TSN bridge. The first virtual TSN bridge determines, based on the information related to the virtual TSN port, a plurality of virtual TSN ports to be used for communication with the second virtual TSN bridge in the first virtual TSN bridge.
