Abstract
A base station (BS) communicatively connected to a group including a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE can implement a method. The method includes determining (or), by processing hardware of the base station, a channel state information (CSI) process configuration for the group. The method also includes transmitting () a control signal including the CSI process configuration to the group, and transmitting () a reference signal to the group in accordance with the CSI process configuration. The method further includes, in response to transmitting the reference signal to the group, receiving () from at least one UE of the group an indication of joint channel state of the group.
