Abstract
A display device is provided, in which operation characteristics of an internal compensation pixel are applied to a degradation compensation modeling to achieve accurate degradation compensation. The display device can include a display panel including an internal compensation pixel, a data driver configured to apply a data voltage to the display panel, and a controller configured to compensate for image data based on a degradation compensation modeling. The degradation compensation modeling includes a degradation compensation modeling representing operation characteristics of the internal compensation pixel during a light-emission period, and a degradation compensation modeling representing operation characteristics of the internal compensation pixel during a sensing period. The compensated image data is provided to the data driver.
