Abstract

A linear drive () has at least one rail () which is oriented along a longitudinal axis (L) and has at least one slotted link () which forms a tooth profile () and two profile surfaces () facing one another. The drive has at least one slider () which is movable transversely to the longitudinal axis (L) and engages the slotted link (), and a drive shaft (). The slider () is coupled to the drive shaft () in such a way that the respective slider () performs at least one cyclical movement in the course of one revolution of the drive shaft () and can thereby alternately push itself off the profile surfaces () facing one another in the slotted link () to generate propulsion in a direction of the longitudinal axis (L).
