Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a network node may receive, prior to transmitting a user equipment dedicated (UE-dedicated) system information block type 1 (SIB1) associated with a user equipment (UE), a random access channel (RACH) from the UE. The network node may transmit, prior to transmitting the UE-dedicated SIB1 and based at least in part on receiving the RACH, a reference signal that is based at least in part on a beam management procedure.
