Abstract

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a customer premises equipment (CPE) may transmit a capability message that includes an indication of a mechanical displacement capability at the CPE. The CPE may receive an instruction to perform a radio optimization procedure that is based at least in part on the mechanical displacement capability, the radio optimization procedure comprising at least one of: a radio link monitoring (RLM) procedure, a radio resource management (RRM) procedure, or a beam management procedure.
