Abstract
A brake caliper () for a vehicle brake () includes a brake pad (), having a friction lining () and a brake pad carrier () configured to carry the friction lining (), and a wear indication device () having a fixation device () and a signal wire (). The signal wire () includes a looped portion (), and the fixation device () has a front part (), a back part (), and a bridge () connecting the front part () and the back part (). The looped portion () of the signal wire () is at least partly arranged externally on the front part () and projects towards a contact surface () of the friction lining (). A hook () extends from the back part () of the fixation device () and engages with said looped portion ().
