Abstract

The invention relates to a rotation angle control and braking device for a power head of a directional drill, belonging to the technical field of coal mine drills. It includes a transmission shaft, driving piston, fixed toothed disk, moving toothed disk, end cover, rotary seat, connecting seat, and a rotary speed reducer with a self-locking function. One end of the transmission shaft is fixedly connected to the drill's driving shaft. The fixed and moving toothed disks are sheathed on the transmission shaft, with springs placed between the moving toothed disk and the end cover. Skewed teeth between the disks engage under spring action. By injecting oil into a sealing cavity between the connecting seat and driving piston, the driving piston moves the moving toothed disk to disengage the skewed teeth. The rotary seat, fixed to the moving toothed disk, connects to the rotary speed reducer's output disk, enabling controlled rotation.
