Abstract
The present invention relates to an improved chromium-free Cu-Al catalyst for the hydrogenation of carbonyl groups in organic compounds, characterized in that the catalyst contains a proportion of zirconium in an amount of% to% by weight. The present invention additionally also relates to the preparation of the catalyst and to the use thereof in the hydrogenation of carbonyl groups in organic compounds.
