The exercise machine includes a spring support rod slidably coupled with the elongated frame and selectively positionable by a handle. The exercise machine includes at least one resistive member coupled at a first end with the spring support rod and at a second end with the moveable carriage. The resistive member is configured to bias the moveable carriage relative to the elongated frame. The exercise machine includes a first spring positioning rod slidably coupled to and moveable within a first rail on the elongated frame and a second spring positioning rod slidably coupled to and moveable within a second rail on an opposing side of the elongated frame. The spring support rod is extends between the first and second spring positioning rods.
