Abstract

A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE transmits first RF signals at Nantennas on first time-frequency resources. The first RF signals carries a first set of reference signals of Lantenna ports. Nand Lare positive integers. Lare not greater than N. The UE transmits second RF signals at Nantennas on second time-frequency resources. The second RF signals carries a second set of reference signals of Lantenna ports. Nand Lare positive integers. Lare not greater than N. The UE transmits, at the Nantennas and the Nantennas, third RF signals on the first time-frequency resources and fourth RF signals on the second time-frequency resources. The third RF signals and the fourth RF signals carries L layers of data. L are not greater than a sum of Land L.
