Abstract

Systems and methods are disclosed for generating a block for a blockchain in an asynchronous blockchain environment. A participant node receives an instruction to generate a block for the blockchain, identifies transactions to be processed, processes the identified transactions asynchronously, and creates a block based on the processed transactions.
