Abstract
A baseband control unit operates a reception unit and stores a reception signal in a sampling memory unit, and then stops an operation of the reception unit and causes a correlation computation processing unit to compute a correlation value for searching for a position information satellite based on the stored reception data. The baseband control unit operates the reception unit and stores the reception data in a bankin a part of a first period of periods continuous in order at time intervals of 20 ms, and stops the reception unit and causes the correlation computation processing unit to compute a correlation value for searching for and tracking the position information satellite based on the reception data stored in the bankin a remaining period of 1 ms.
