Abstract
A solid electrolytic capacitordisclosed herein includes: a plurality of capacitor elementsstacked on top of each other, each capacitor element having an anode portionand a cathode portion; an anode lead terminalelectrically connected to at least one of the anode portions; and three or more joining portionsjoining and electrically connecting the stacked anode portionstogether. The stacked anode portionshave a first surfaceand a second surfacethat are located outermost on one side and the other side, respectively, in the stacking direction. The three or more joining portionsinclude a first joining portionhaving a first area on the first surfaceand a second joining portionhaving a second area smaller than the first area on the first surface. Thus, variation in ESR can be reduced.
