Abstract
An electronic device can include a memory storing computer-executable instructions and at least one processor that accesses the memory and executes the instructions. The at least one processor can load target software among a plurality of pieces of software stored in a dedicated memory of a computing device into a shared memory of a hardware security module (HSM) for verifying software integrity, set a first sub-area for recovery of the target software in the shared memory, and recover the target software by use of the first sub-area, based on a fault occurring in the dedicated memory in which the target software is stored and/or the shared memory into which the target software is loaded.
