Abstract

A method of runtime program verification receives, through a preemptive mechanism of an operating system running on an external system, recent values for a set of system health indicators for the external system. The recent values are compared to calibrated values for the set of system health indicators, and normal operation of the external system is verified based on whether the comparison of the recent values to the calibrated values are within predetermined error thresholds.
