Abstract

An extract ofLeichtlin ex Baker, according to the present invention, exhibits a whitening effect by inhibiting the expression of tyrosinases and reducing the total amount of melanin, reduces wrinkles and improves skin elasticity by promoting collagen synthesis of fibroblasts in the skin and inhibiting the activity of collagenases, exhibits an effect of anti-glycation that inhibits glycation, exhibits a skin moisturization effect by promoting the synthesis of hyaluronic acid, exhibits an effect of improving skin texture by reducing skin roughness, and exhibits effects of irritation relief and relief of stinging, itching, burning sensations and the like, thereby being usable in the preparation of cosmetic products, pharmaceuticals and foods.
