Abstract
A routing decisions node (RDN) of a virtual gateway established for traffic of an application group generates a replication graph representing paths for replicating messages from a message producer of the application group to a set of message consumers of the application group such that end-to-end latencies to individual ones of the message consumers satisfy a performance requirement of the application group. The graph is generated based at least partly on end-to-end message replication latency requirements of the application group, and on message latency metrics of packet processing nodes (PPNs) of the virtual gateway. The RDN sends the graph to a PPN. The PPN receives an application data message of the application group, and sends it to a destination indicated in the graph.
