Abstract

The invention relates to administration systems and to methods which can improve the safety of administration systems, more particularly the safety of an infusion system, in which system it is checked, when the medication container is exchanged, whether the new container is appropriate for the system. A system of this type consists of an administration device (), a mobile communication device () and servers (). When a reservoir () or the administration device () is replaced, an image of information () is captured by means of a camera () of the communication device (). As a result of evaluation of the information () by means of a software application, functions of the administration device () are activated or not.
