Abstract

A system for documenting emergency medical events related to treatment of a patient is provided. The system includes a medical device configured to obtain physiological information from the patient and generate a first plurality of log entries that mark events that occur during treatment of the patient. The system also includes a mobile device configured to receive input for generating a second plurality of log entries that mark events that occur during treatment, establish a communicative connection with the medical device to access the first plurality of time-stamped log entries, and present, during the treatment of the patient, a single consolidated event log that includes the first plurality of log entries and the second plurality of log entries.
