Abstract
An in-line flowmeter sensor device and an in-line flowmeter are configured to be arranged in-line with a conduit supporting a multi-phase fluid flow including first and second matter groups. The second matter group has a lower density than the first matter group. The sensor device includes: an inlet and an outlet arranged at respective ends of the flowmeter sensor device; and a measurement chamber arranged between the inlet and the outlet. The measurement chamber is configured to split the first and second matter groups into first and second flow regions, respectively, of the measurement chamber. A flow meter sensor element is arranged in or adjacent the first region.
