Abstract
Provided is a robot that realizes human-like movements. A robot () comprises: a self-propelled drive unit (); a trunk unit () mounted on the drive unit (); and a head unit () installed above the trunk unit (). The head unit () has an image capturing unit (), and a transmission unit for transmitting an image captured by the image capturing unit () as a signal to a user terminal. The robot () comprises: a cover () that is swingable and covers the trunk unit () so as to provide a space between the trunk unit () and the cover (); and a first coil spring () and a second coil spring () disposed between the trunk unit () and the cover ().
