Abstract

In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE determines that a base station is configured to communicate with the UE on reference frequency band. The UE transmits NRF signals at Nantennas on first frequency band. Nis a positive integer. The UE transmits NRF signals at Nantennas on second frequency band. Nis a positive integer. The NRF signals and the NRF signals carry L layers of data generated at the UE and to be received at the base station. L is a positive integer and greater than each of the Nand the N.
